There's daylight too soon
I open my eyes
Already thinking of you

There's a crack in the sky
swallowed me whole
These clouds in my eyes
exacting a toll

The echoes that roll in my head
shatter the day
with this loneliness sharing my bed
since you went away

Sometimes I think I might find you
here in these dark reveries
- cold artifacts and reminders
of where you used to be

There's a yawning hole in the world
I've fallen into
There's a deepening fault in my heart
shaped just like you

There's a crack in the sky
swallowed me whole
These clouds in my eyes
have taken a toll....
